One thing that’s new on Jesse's truck is the polished aluminum wheels that replaced the steel wheels he had on his 677. The new Alcoa wheels were to better accommodate the large 36" 305x85x16 tires, and the larger rear wider drum brakes. He runs a 1 5/8 inch master cylinder, made for a 66-69 GMC COE 6500. Jesse is really satisfied with the new look. I couldn’t agree more!
Another new item on Jesse's truck is a new camper top that Jesse had around. It was an old top that was on a 1947 pickup that a friend of his owned. Jesse built a new wood frame for the top and found the metal in California. The metal is the same material that is used for Ice coolers that you find at gas stations. Jesse painted it black to match the rest of the truck. You can see the raw top in the previous picture.

Jesse added this custom made front step/guard to make climbing into his truck a little easier. One of the first questions any FC owner gets from a potential “Shotgun” passenger is “How do you get in this thing?” Well after an attempt or two you naturally head you foot towards the front hub as an initial climbing in point. With Jesse’s truck being a dually, the hub isn’t there to step up on so his front step is essential. It also makes cleaning the windshield a breeze! Jesse is so happy with his new step that he plans on adding them also to his ambulance
This shot is from Scott Lehman and really takes in a great view of the cab and dash.
