In recent conversations with well known author and automotive historian Jim Allen, I have been able to acquire some missing FC production numbers.  Although the complete Forward Control Jeep production history is still an estimate because of missing figures from the early Kaiser Motors years, it looks like 1961, 1962, and most of 1963 have been confirmed.  Danny Hartling’s Forward Control Jeep site had the most up to date documentation on FC production figures.  Unfortunately Danny’s site was taken down in 2008.  Major thanks go out to Dan Horenberger for finding a web site called “Way Back Machine” that has taken a snapshot of the Forward Control Jeep site circa 2006 and most of the historical information has been saved.  Check out the link below for the list of production figures from Danny Hartling’s site.  Remember this is a snapshot from 2006 and has not been updated since.  I will provide new production information on this page.  Please feel free to contact me on any information that can be used to supplement this page.

The charts below show monthly production figures for the FC-150, FC-170, & FC-170 DRW 3-speed models from January 1960 thru June 1963.  I have also included Model Year figures from Danny's site so you could cross reference VIN numbers.  Generally, Model Years ended in August of the year produced.  I'm unclear what the "Final Old" or "Face Lift" numbers refer to.  Any ideas?  Definitely more investigating needs to be done.
