Here David's new FC-150 and it looks pretty clean.  He didn't send me too much info on his truck but mentioned that he introduced himself on the forum so I posted his comments that went along with his truck.  Looks like he's been pretty busy!  Great looking truck David, keep us informed on your progress.

"Although I've had a few comments on this Forum in the recent past, I want to officially introduce myself now that my 1959 FC150 is rolling under its own power.  After purchasing it on Ebay back in July, 2012, I had it shipped to my home in Frisco, TX. I understand from the broker acting for the PO, that the Jeep had been sitting in a barn in the Denver area for over 10 years. So far, I've re-done the brakes (all drums, cylinders, master cylinder rebuild and new lines) and fuel system (including a custom-built tank), changed all fluids in engine and differentials, re-conditioned the radiator and Donaldson air filter, added a new surge tank, points/plugs, wires, and re-built the Solex carburetor. A new e-brake cable was added, along with 3-point seat belts (a concession to my wife, but a good idea).  Have sorted out all the major electrical issues, so far. Never fails to gather a few people in the parking lot on my trips to O'Reillys.

Next steps are to re-build the steering box, bell crank assembly, drag link, and add new tie rod assemblies. At some point it is destined to be taken apart and sent to the media blasters in preparation for a complete restore. I very much look forward to communicating on this Forum and appreciate any/all suggestions and advice.

I plan to attend the Round-Up in Phoenix next March, with or without the FC, and look forward to meeting everyone."
