Well, it looks like the ultra rare Alaskan 3-door has made its way back to the Midwest and I don't think it will be relocating any time soon.  Dan DeVries has finally accomplished what seemed to be so far away and from an area where it surely would deteriorate further.  The Alaska 3-door is finally home!  And it couldn't be in more capable hands!  This page will be updated as more information comes in on this rare bird and its new life ahead.  I did hear word of a 350 crate motor backed up by the 700r transmission, 4.10 gears, and 33" tires.  Dan also has a a tradition of naming all his Jeep projects.  Dan said, "Just call him Frank!", short for Frankenstein.  Gotta love it!  Please keep us informed on your patient Dr. F.
