1959 FC-170

“Big Red”

Original body and paint. New tires, brakes, recovered seats.

Slight rust on the cab. Bed floor is beat up and rusty. The floor  is covered with aluminum sheet metal to haul better.

The original 226 was replaced with a supposedly rebuilt Kaiser 226 with the 2brl intake and a Rochester carb.  The motor spun a bearing about 30 miles after installing it. The bad bearings were replaced but the crank is scored so there is a slight knock and it does smoke a bit when first started but runs and drives good. I have another crank if interested. Radiator, surge tank and gas tank were all boiled out and repaired as needed. All glass is good. It’s been in inside storage for about 5 years but gets started occasionally. Located in north Iowa.

May trade for a V8 powered FC-150
